The pics show 4 different family sailing dinghies 2 at 16 feet and 2 at 14 feet. These are all deep cockpit boats ideal for family sailing.
What i am showing you is types ,to give you some idea of what is available
Starting at top left we have a Wayfarer which is 16 feet long and a very popular stable boat , it can be used for training cruising and racing.
The boat will normally be equiped with a main ,jib and spinny and come on a trailer or combi and will have a cover.
These boats are quite fast on the plane and great for cruising .
The boat will take up to 6 but it is a squeeze.
On the right is a Laser 16 (there is also a Laser 13) the number refers to its lenght.
This is a more modern design and has huge amounts of bouancy with a shallower cockpit. It is heavier than the Wayfarer but comes with an excellent trailer launching system so is not to difficult to slip.
The number of sails is the same as the Wayfarer but the mains all come with 2 line reefing and 2 rows of reefs, the headsail is furling.
On this boat the mast comes in 2 sections for ease of transport.
There are also some lesser known classes such as Victoria 16 and Topper 16
On the lower right is Topper 14 , a more modern design with a fully batterned main and a furling headsail.It has a more spacious cockpit but is slightly shallower. It can come as assymetric or spinny.
The last boat is a Leader (14feet) which really looks like a smaller version of a wayfare and will take up to 4.
The sail arrangement is the same as the Wayfarer. It is raced in the U.K as well as used for sail training. There is also look alike called the Wanderer
All these classes are in G.R.P. , there are some classes that are a polythene type material and are heat moulded, they tend to be open transom and somewhat sportier.
At 16 feet you have .. Omega and Vision
Smaller boats are the Magno and Vareo
All our boats are prepared in the U.K so they are ready to go and come with covers and trailers

The duo rig has the trapeze on a stayed mast with greater sail area and a lot more power. This rig will fit any topaz and is the upgrade from the uno to a more traditional and powerfull rig
The rig consist of ......
Mast rigged including trapeze and all standing and running rigging, Kicker and mast step ( the mast step has the jib fairleads and jammers)
The boom with outhaul
All the fittings for the hull including the hull turning blocks for the jib sheets, the stemhead fitting and the trapeze bungy.
There is a main and jib , both in excellent condition.
There is also a very good mast up cover as the uno cover will not work with this rig.
The whole rig is in very good condition and only lightly used.
The new price for this from a dealer is about 1800euros

Wayfarer world ( by Porters) with assymetric, Sail no 10325 It also has fittings for a spinny.
The boat is in very good condition and is on a new combi base with a new cover.
The boat is not the sail no' shown on the sail as the original sails and trailer where stolen.The sail no is 10325 which makes the boat around 2003`
The sails are very good and the jib is on a furling system.
The rudder and centreboard are G.R.P.
This is the all G.R.P. model with no wood to look after.The boat can be used as a family boat, a cruising boat or can be raced.
The trailer is new and the trolley locks on to it to make it easier to tow and launch.

Heres a stunning little family day boat just ibn with us to be sold,she is a little Drascombe Scaffie but this little boat is as capable as the bigger luggers in heavey weather.The Scaffie is built to the same proud standards as the rest of the luggers,she comes with single standing mast with main sail,alloy spars,outboard in well:Honda 2,3 engine: and is complete with oars,rollocks and cover it also comes with a launch trolley and rd trailer that are all galvanised.This little boat has had only two very careful owners and is in stunning condition. |

Laser 16 on a combi trailer with a very good cover.
This boat has both main and jib , the main has 2 reefs and a floatation head. The jib is furling .There is also a spinny with all the gear to fly it.
All control lines end in jammers at the base of the mast , then the tails fall into a bag to tidy them up.
There is a locker with a waterproof hatch leading under the foredeck for storage of picknicks and /or clothing.
The cockpit will take 6 adults and is clutter free due to the centreboard mounting below the floor.
The mast will fit into the lenght of the boat due to the top section coming off.
There is an engine mount and a bathing ladder next to it.
The boat is ready to go as all the cordage is either good or has been renewed.
The space makes the boat ideal for families and has so much bouyancy it will not be swamped.
The floor is above water level so the boat will sit on a mooring for those summer months and any rain will drain away.

This is a tres which is the 3 sail version of the Topaz, the boat has been privately used from new.
The spars are excellent and rerigged with new cordage.
The sails are very good, the mainsail is fully battened and has a single reef and tell tales, the jib has a window and tell tales the assymetric is nice and crispy but does have a couple of very small patches. Both the main and jib have been kept rolled on a tube
The mast also has single trapeze.
The assymetric retrieves into a large hooped mouth and storage sock, this system is the most modern version for the tres and was fitted by Topper
The foils are good.
The boat sits on a combi trailer and has a mast up cover.
This boat is the type required for level 4 .
The boat can be fast but can equally be reefed down to reduce power for those needing a bit more experience.
